Who cuts first at your table? We always let the non dealer cut, but who cuts to decide dealer?

We cut simultaneously and lowest card gets the deal. If tied, re-cut.

Some clubs let the elder player cut first. It is a courtesy thing.

Historically it was lowest card. That is what most rulebooks say.
