Re: Mary Schriefens boards - peg layout details
Anyone know the exact peg layout on Mary Schriefens boards?
Some are flipped mid game and I am trying to sketch the hole pattern.

The tracks often follow the tine, then wrap around the base after flipping. Some have a 121 finish hole on the tip.
If you get a photo, count hole spacing. That will help recreate the layout.
Do you drill all the way through the antler or just shallow holes?
My uncle said the holes were shallow and pegs were tapered.
I would love to see a replica board done in wood using that layout.
If you scan a photo, overlay a grid to get hole spacing.
Marys boards are the most distinctive cribbage artifacts I have seen.
Thanks all. I will post if I get measurements.
Looking forward to it.
